The first tier of services offered by MaternOhio is our Co-operative
model. In the co-op model, physicians ask us how MaternOhio can
help increase the revenue of the practice. We offer four ways
for physicians and their practices to achieve this goal.
- General Purchasing
- MaternOhio has leveraged the volume of it member practices
to create 'best price' contracts with multiple suppliers. Practices
at the co-op or management services level can enjoy the savings
that result from consolidated demand.
- Insurance Consolidation
- MaternOhio offers an array of Insurance products specific
to managing employee benefits and risk in OB/Gyn practices.
This includes malpractice solutions, business property and liability
protection, life, health and disability programs, as well as
employee benefit programs. We also can assist through our partnerships
with retirement and asset management planning.
- Insurance Contracting
- MaternOhio assists physician practices in negotiating contracts
with insurance providers allowing for contracts specific to
the OB/Gyn specialty.
- Equipment Purchasing
- MaternOhio has leveraged its purchasing power to negotiate
contracts with suppliers such as GE Medical Systems for ultrasound
equipment.
